None. All you have to do is bend one of the hard lines. You have to bend the tabs on the subframe down too, but as long as you are careful, it's no prob. It was one of the best upgrades I did to mine.

Yeah, we will see what happens when the money starts coming back in.. ha I ran 17's for a little bit and couldn't stand the ride and finally got fed up with it

How much custom work does it take to put the z3 steering rack in an e30?

Enkei 92s are among my favorite wheels for an E30.

Also, you do need more low. I'd suggest just start saving for coilovers if you want to be aggressive, or if you want to stick with traditional springs then go for H&R Race or IE3 springs, and make sure you get E90 drop hats while you are at it, it's only $20 for another 1/2" of low in the front!

Ok, so here is the story behind my car since I have posted less about my car than 325i has.... haha

I got the car as a gift in april 2010 for my 18th birthday. I had been searching a lot and finally got lucky enough to find a late model 325is. It was just forgotten in the back of some random Chrysler dealer when I found it. We talked to a salesman who finally found the keys for it and of course, it didn't start. So, we haggled with the guy and got it for $1500 which was on the high end considering it didn't run.

After we had towed it home we messed with it and messed with it and couldn't get it to fire. So through the power of the internet I had discovered the stomp test and found out it was the ICV. After cleaning that it ran! Now it seemed like the $1500 wasn't so much after all. Now I started driving it daily for about three days when it stranded me first... bad clutch. Luckily I have access to a lift so we changed the clutch and the rear wheel bearings along with other parts that were worn out.

After that it turned out to be pretty reliable for a couple of months... Until I lost an upper radiator hose. Stranded a second time and third time being towed home ha. Now was time to do the water pump and timing belt along with new hoses. At this time I thought it was about time to actually upgrade it which I wanted to start doing right when I got it but with an e30 thats not realistic.

I lowered it first with bavauto springs and bilstein sports (current setup). We also dropped the subframe, upgraded all the bushings, and welded in camber adjustments. Then got a custom exhaust done and put on the Enkei92's.
Since college started upgrades have definitely gone down but she is a work in progress!

Hoping to do IE stage 3 springs and mess with wheel spacers and tire sizes next

    Hoped you enjoyed,
    Thanks!
