    Need E36 M3 Sedan Parts

That's right. I need a few to get that sedan sorted for my friend. I'm going to have stuff rebuilt or try to source OEM new if I have to, but thought I might try here first. Here's the list:

    Working Secondary Air Pump
Good Front Control Arms & Tie Rods
    Drive shaft
    OBC
    Power steering pump
    Power steering return lines
    Sunroof motor

I will have a sunroof motor as soon as I pull it out of my car.

I might have a SAP and tie rods.

Is the driveshaft 4-bolt or 6-bolt? Probably 6-bolt if it's bad.

PS Pump, don't bother with a used one. Same with return line, just pull the one off the car and take it to a hydraulic line place, and have them braze a fitting on the end with a new piece of rubber hose. I might have an extra around as a 'core' that I could get made up.

Front control arms, if you have a press and they aren't bent, just do the E30 balljoints. Much cheaper.

I was hoping you would chime in.

I'll take the SAP, tie rods, and sun roof motor if you've got them.

According to Realoem the 98 is a 4 bolt, but I don't have the car with me at the moment. There is an early one on craig's, but I think it's a 6 bolt. (we are referring to the rear flange correct?)

Roland is on the ball joints...

Also, the E36 sedan is the shit. I see why it's your weapon of choice.

98 should be a 4-bolt. I don't have a spare at the moment - I would recommend taking it to Rocky Mountain Driveline Service, they can do the U-joints and balance it. Much better than finding a crappy used one.

Yes, rear flange. It will either have a CV joint (6-bolt) or a U-joint (4-bolt) at the diff.

I'll dig around in the garage tomorrow and see what I can find. I won't be able to pull the sunroof motor until next week at the earliest.

          Thanks.

I've had luck with Boulder Driveline. They did my E30 one and it has worked out great. They didn't balance it either.

No rush on the sunroof motor either.

If Chris doesn't have the SAP, I'll take it. Thanks...

I have the SAP as well. Also have an 18 button OBC and sunroof motor if you need.

Chris, I emailed you about the SAP and Tie Rods. I'm keen on buying that stuff from you if you happened to find it. I'll rally up to the Ft. early next week.

I found a set of control arms at junk yard. Might investigate those. Would anyone here trust a set of junkyard control arms if the ball joints didn't have play?

Worth a shot... make sure there's no tears in the boots.

What he said - replace the balljoints with fresh ones as long as you *know* the arms aren't bent.
