Are you looking for a place to do the work? Evac.-Leak ck. refill with r12.

    Or a hookup

I was looking for a member that has experience. Unless someone has a strong recommend for a shop?

The only shop I trust to do any mechanic work is Dans Alighnment and brake.
        2901 w. 92nd. Ave. 303-426-8610, Just east of Federal on 92nd.
Air Conditioning tech. is straight up, check your system out, tell you what it needs to make it right, or make it work for a while if thats all you want to pay for.
Dans does everything, Honest straight up shop. If they tell you it needs something, It does.

Bump...Anybody here do AC work? I've got some r134a cans. But I'd love to stay r12 if I could...

Need help replacing seals, check leaks, and then refill r12

I had a hard time finding a shop that would take my R12 (turns out it had slowly leaked out anyways) in south Denver but that's irrelevant to you...

Wolfgang at Coyote Motors in Boulder does A/C repair. Last time I was in there he had R-12 refrigerant at a reasonable price. Mostly does Mazda and Subaru, but maybe you could convince him to work on the E34. He also works on Saturdays by appointment. 303-443-3011.

Went and spoke to wolfgang at coyote: super nice guy (made me wish I had a miata...)

anyway no go; he's saving his r12 for his customers...
