Well here's the skinny:
I've been building this car for over a year now off and on, and I just don't have the time/patience/resources anymore. I need to concentrate on other things now like my wife's car, my DD, and more important things like that.
Anyway, some text below copied from my CL ad:
These are a couple cell phone pics I took of the car when I bought the shell a year ago. Now it has a straight front valence (needs to be painted white), of course drivetrain and suspension, and also a crack-free extra dash, that I forgot to mention.

I am selling my 318is because of life circumstances I no longer have the time or resources to work on this car. The engine runs amazingly, and the car shifts great and has good power.
However, as of now, the outstanding issue on the car is that the brakes need to be bled, and there is an oil leak from the front main seal, which is actually an easy fix, though I do not have the time.
However, I have put substantial money into this car, and has many brand new replacement and performance parts. Below is a list of work that I have done and parts installed.
I installed a replacement engine, transmission and full drivetrain (I bought the car as a shell with 200k on it) and the engine/drivetrain has 180k.
The engine has all new gaskets and seals (although the front main seal was I think poor quality, so you'll have to put in a better one)
Magnecor ignition wires
Transmission has new output seals
Short shift kit - very short and precise shift throw
4.10 limited slip differential with tons of lockup
New brake pads and rotors
New steel braided brake lines
Brake booster from an E32 735i - good for a 24v swap
All new ball joints - including inner and outer control arm ball joints and tie rod ends
E30 M3 solid offset control arm bushings
BRAND NEW Bilstein sport shocks - these cost $500, and have maybe three miles on them
Ireland Engineering billet aluminum/polyurethane rear shock mounts
Suspension Techniques lowering springs - again, brand new, maybe three miles on them
E90 front drop hats
And many more small replacement parts
BRAND NEW 195/60/14 tires - $500 from Discount Tire
Now for the bad - I already mentioned the brake bleeding issue, and the front main seal, but the driver's door will need to be replaced (there is a dent and rust), there are a few interior trim pieces missing, and a dent and a small surface rust spot on the rear license plate area.
The car still has the full factory sport interior. The car is alpine white on tan.
Because of the brake issue (and I haven't had the car aligned after replacing the tie rod ends) I would suggest towing this car home. I will include all kinds of spare E30 parts with this car to whoever buys it, including an extra M42 head.
If interested, please call me at 443-907-7246
