Anyone in Colorado willing to take a look at a E30?

Hey everyone! So I am looking at buying an E30 and just received the advice to have someone on here look at it with me. If anyone is in Colorado, knows a lot about E30s, and is willing to meet in Fort Collins sometime let me know. I would be willing to pay $50 for someone who can truly tell me if this car is good or not (structurally and mechanically). It's a 1993 325i BTW. Thanks.

There are some knowledgeable e30 folk from Colorado that are active here, I'm not sure who is near FoCo these days, though. Maybe try the mountain region forum, too.

If you told him your name is Krista, you would've had a volunteer.

That I know of no, that was my car for the longest time, I basically put it together to be how it is. I did all the maintenance on it when it was on my hands. Here is a little run down.

New timing belt / water pump @139999
                Bav auto springs/ bilstein springs
                Euro trim all around
                Euro grills
                Swapped to us ellipsoids
                Rear euro plate filler
                4.10 lsd
                Kamotors carbon intake
Also did the valve adjustment same time if timing belt including new spark plug wires.

Wow interesting. Could you tell me the exhaust it had (and if it still has the cats, it smelled like it did but I wanted to make sure)? I'm assuming it was maintained and reliable? The current owner bought a 90s Merc, I guess he lost interest in the E30 . How long did this guy own it for? Just wanting to make sure he didn't mess it up and then sell it. Also did it have an accident history.

I put the exhaust on it too, I believe it was a b&b, I have the receipt somewhere. The guy you are buying it from is not the guy i sold it to, I guess the trunk has hail damage as I spoke to him when he firstly posted the car on Craig's. I didn't really drive the car much for the time I had it but for sure it never left me stranded, always took it for mountain drives with the top down, I miss it still. Anyway the engine on that car was just solid and one of the quiet ones. 2300 for it is not a bad deal, for all the upgrades and small details here an there is worth it, I paid 2300 for it 5 years ago and it was completely stock with every bushing shot.

If you are willing to take a drive to Fort Collins this weekend to take a look at the car and even take it for a drive I'll give you $50.

FYI - There isn't a "cheap" way to just replace that rear window; make sure to budget for that...
