Anyone heading down to Goddard Park to see the Autos of the World car show? From what I've heard already from a valid source there should be about 1200 cars from all over the world as well as military and service vehicles there on display and up for prizes... I'll be there in the 318, be nice to get some other E30s together to park there for a nice lil shoot then off to see some nasty stuff on display

Update: Just found out that if you get there before 12 noon and give a $5.00 donation you can park amongst the cars on display and not be judged rather than parking in the designated parking area. Worth the $5 in my eyes to have a nice lil E30 section there.

Jeff, Goddard Park is in Warwick, RI. (Some may argue that it's in East Greenwich, but it's physical address is Warwick. Here's a map. If you were planning on going and wanted to meet up like the Colt State Meet, let me know.

Thanks for the map, it's location is real close to us. Preston's iX is currently down for an O2 sensor (that would explain it running like ass-shit at CSP). I have a wheel bearing howling, but I think I can nurse it for another month or three! The iX will be up and operational tomorrow.......so count us 50% committed!!"I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death."

Yep, in Mass, just off Exit 3 146 North in Uxbridge. We're centrally-located to a lot of good spots. For example, just this week, we all blasted to Scusset Beach on upper Cape Cod in <1hr, and Narragansett in about 1.25 hr. Granted, we blasting about 80 - 90 in the wife's 98 318i grocery getter. :D We may be taking it down on Sunday........very comfy ride, but not nearly as cool as any of our 4 E30s!"I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death."

I couldn't make it down there due to my howling wheel bearing. It goes into the shop next Tuesday......too bad it sucked balls. I'm sure the E30s present probably stole the show!"I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death."

Jeff... the only e30 there was mine as far as I know, and it was in the parking lot at the time. There were 2 BMWs total when I was there... a Silver M coupe and a black M roadster... that's it.... I was severly disapointed as the show did not live up to the hype. I'm a huge car fanatic, my g/f and I only spent about 45 minutes there... it sucked, you didn't miss anything... Hell, I would have felt like the asshole if you drove from Uxbridge down here seeing as how shitty it was and I was the one initially "promoting" it so to speak
