    S50 Swap

Hey everyone, I have been around the forums for a while now. My other user-name "Wheels5550" for some reason isnt working right now... Anyway I have an S50 with the harness, ecu, etc... and an '87 325is that needs the swap done.

Anyone in the Long Island area capable of completing this swap? Project M-Spec of Queens quoted my $2k in labor which is IMHO ridiculous. I will be paying cash and would like to see the swap completed in a timely manner.

Please email me at Wheels5550@aol.com if you can do the swap or know of a shop or someone that can. I'd love to do it myself, but my dad just sold our house and i no longer have a garage to work in.

You should elaborate or leave a transaction feedback.

here's the thing I was told the swap would take 3 to 4 days I said take a week then there was a problem with the harness they found one then they found other problems they couldn't figure out long story short they simply have NO CLUE ABOUT DOING THE SWAP and to top it off I gave them half the money as a down payment so If parts were needed they can use that money to get parts if needed which they did but got the wrong fucking harness so moral of the story is STAY AWAY FROM THAT FUCKING HEADACHE its not the owner of that business its the guy posting here really has no clue what I was asking him to do therefore HAS NOT DONE ANY SWAPS ON HIS OWN other then telling me what his friend has done.... any how I tried to save a few bucks which costed me more then the original quote from ICS.....lesson learned I moved on so save yourself a HUGE headache time and $$$$$$$ go to a reputable shop that has turned this swap like it was a simple oil change......this was my HELLISH AGGREVATING experience

Punctuation. It's your friend and it really does exist for a reason. Being taken seriously, for instance. Now, mind, I can relate to your frustration having gone through a few INTERESTING times of my own with shops and mechanics, but really: try to post decently.
