CT Caravan to Gfest, lets meet up!

OK so with Gfest's date of the 25th closing in lets put something together for a meet up point so CT guys and maybe even RI, Mass can all get together and caravan into Jersey in style. Gfest starts at 12 noon.

I myself would like to get there a tad early to maybe get a good spot (and scope out the goodies) Takes about 2 hours from New Haven but I am thinking a meeting place more along Fairfield area. Lets plan on meeting around 930 and hit the road by 10 or so. So if anyone has a good meeting point lets hear it.

Lets start a List and what car you are going in

    1) Sharky (Alpinaized E30)
    2) Ben M
    3) livetheride
    4) pfcrayb
    5)M-tecknic 3 (MA)
    6)boboss NY
    7)livetheride
    8)Jizo MA
    9)
    10)

I'm in. My vote is the Merritt to I-287 over the Tapenzee to the Garden State Parkway.

This is best. Take Garden State to 280, take exit 10 off of 280. Make left on to Northfield, come up hill 2-3 lights. Make a left on to Gregory. Take Gregory until it ends. Make left onto South Orange Avenue. Drive through downtown South Orange under train tracks and make a right onto Valley.

Take Valley to Parker and make a right on to Parker. If you go past the Shell station you went too far.

See you all in 12 days...

Ben that's best way, It avoids NYC and pot hole central. You bringing the E28?

Doubt I will make it as I normally get 5-8 between trips and I should be home maybe tomorrow.

On a side note maybe this should be a swap meet as well?

I guess I am taking charge, I am leving my house (just outside New Haven) around 9 and would like to meet up somewhere around 9:45 or so. Get everyone together gassed, piss, drink, snack and hit the road a bit after 10, to get to Guten about 12. I havent even looked at the route yet but we need a convienient spot to meet maybe around fairfield.

Ikea would be fine for the people to converge to from new haven area. We can set up another pick up point in the White Plains area.
