Need a Driveshaft (MT ) in RI

SO my U Joints are done for.

I need a 5-Speed Driveshaft. Preferably with a good CSB and U-Joints.

Willing to drive if needed.

I think I can help you, but do you have the large or small guibo? Some early ETA's had...92mm I believe it is, vs. 78mm most e30's. If you don't know I'll confirm, if you know for sure whether you have small or big let me know and i'll check my storage unit tomorrow.

i have one but you might have to wait 2 weeks. was in good mechanical order when removed a few weeks ago. small guibo. came from 89 325is

Frankly, IDK the Guibo size...Im having a problem where its making ALOT of rattling in the tranny tunnel and I cant figure it out. I replaced the CSB and still get an obniouxious rattling and vibration. ANd I can only preload the bearing alittle because the bolts are all the way forward on the track they ride on on the CSB.

I used a late model flange off of a late model tranny because my early model one had the stupid sheild on it.

I'll end up positng something in the technical forum.

I bought a generic One off ebay and that lasted 1k Miles before it fubared.

Late model driveshafts had the small guibo.

5/86 was the supersession date for the large (LK=96) to the small guibo (LK=78 ).

whats the difference between size? the small guibo shaft wont fit?

I have a flange from an 88 on the back of my tranny, wondering if thats causing problems.

Noise started right after I hund my exhaust. But I can tell its not an exhaust problem :/
