My old IX I paid 500 for the paint and looked good but then I sold the car and the kid ripped it apart to turn in to a rally car. it looks like shit now.

I paid just under 2k. It will never be a show car, but spending 5k on a car that is only worth 6 at best is not smart in my mind. I am just glad to have it looking decent so I can enjoy it.

...looks nice, just hope it lasts. That's what I'd be worried about. I have no experience with them, just hear all the horror stories. What do they charge out of curiosity?

Who did the work for you? How did it come out?

the work was actually done by the Maaco in chelmsford. I know what people say about Maaco, I gotta say though I had these guys do my e36 when I had it and the attention to detail was phenomenal. for whatever reason the guys in the shop really like my projects, so they always take their time to make it look good. Will it be a show car, no. But i was not looking for that.

I want to get a local meet together for us north shore guys. I was thinking at hampton beach or dinner and drinks in Lawrence off 495 at Sals. Sals has good food a huge deck on the river and a big parking lot great place to take group pics. What date works for you guys?

I am in Lawrence (almost behind Sals)and dig the Sal's part!

My work has been all done and the car is repainted. Now it is time to move on to the interior....ugh

If you're referring to the body work/paint I'm doing; no it's not done yet. It's going slower than expected but should be done in a week. There was a bit more rust than expected.

I did end up pulling the M20 and sold it to a guy in VT.

I don't think the S52 swap will be done until the end of July. We'll see...

No I was referring to Trptguy as he wanted to get some work done on his quarter panels if I remember correctly.

Don't worry I'm not done with my three swaps I have going right now either. House eats most of my time in the day and by the the time night rolls around I don't want to head out to the garage.
