Kangamangus is 4 hours from here, and was too spur of moment. I was thinking maybe next weekend say ? if weather is nice a drive around the Quabbin? no crazy sppeds as Mass State Police patrol the area heavily. Just a nice 5 over speed, stopping for lunch at an eatery or the apple stand for some apple fritters?

Greg...can you give me a few more weeks? Progress has come to a halt for this and next week due to papers and midterms and I'm sooooo close to being done (just gotta do driveshaft stuff.)
SC*AR (Schwarz Army)
No longer stock ride height, rolling as low as a daily driver in New England should without worrying about breaking an oil pan. :up:Comment

Nice thing about the Quabbin is that it's centrally located. About an hour and fifteen from Boston and about an hour and half from Hartford. There are some small eateries along the route small Mom and Pop sandwich/pizza joints as well a small bakery and two apple orchards. The roads are all A/B ie numbered routes and are in decent shape.
Potholes are not too bad. The bad is I am not going to be able to work a ton on this, I injured myself yesterday doing something stupid. So I need some R&R time this week.

I'd love to do this but I think I'm gonna be heading back to Brookline this weekend to work on a car I've gotta get fixed and sold ASAP, and have been slacking on. If for some reason I don't go home this weekend then I'd be in for sure as long as it doesn't interfere with pats (goes for any future weekend drives too :))Comment

Sunday looks the best so far right now. Chime in, guys. Thinking meeting in Palmer/Ware would be best heading out toward Belchertown in a clockwise pattern. There is a great scenic overlook on 202 that would make for some decent shots.
On 202 heading north toward Orange there are alot of places to snap photos. Just have to remember Mass State Police and the Environmental Police patrol these area so excessive speed will bite you in the butt.Last edited by M-technik-3; 10-11-2011, 06:44 AM.Comment
