Driving schools and autocross are over, so what are you going to do to keep your skills up, besides watching the Formula 1 races and playing Gran Turismo V? CT Valley Chapter is going karting again. The first session is Sunday, October 30, at On Track Karting in Wallingford, CT.
We will have the track just for ourselves, with only 8 people at a time running, to maximize your driving experience. Everyone will get to run 3 heats, with some time in between to figure out how you want to change your driving line.
If you have a full faced helmet, you can bring your own. Otherwise, the track has helmets available, but you will need to either bring your own head sock or buy one from them.
We are limiting the session to 24 people, with CCA members having first priority. To save a place, send an email to dortoli@ctvalley.org. The cost will be $42 a person, to be paid before the program. Payment instructions will be sent after you register.
If there is interest, we will hold a session every 6 - 8 weeks.
The track time will be from 10:30 - 11:30, but you must be there by 10:00 am to get registered with the track and set in the run groups. If you have not raced at this track before, you must watch a safety video before you can run.

I am not attending but they were soliciting Non CCA members as well. Was told you cannot use your credits if you have a membership and driving credits.
This weekend is also Octoberfest sponsored by Boston CCA at Lars Anderson in Brookline Mass on the 30th.
