Everything seems to be cancelled except work. But without power not much gets done.Comment

Still no power. People are going fisticuffs are gas stations over here since there are only 2 or 3 open PER TOWN. I drove 40 miles to an unhit area to refuel our tanks for our generator.

I have power, net, and TV back. Yeah.
I had a fun day yesterday in the cool weather.

Congratulations, seems CT response was slow to this storm. We have had power and internet for about 5 days now. Many power companies will be doing some drastic limbing of trees that grow amongst the power lines in the coming months to prevent this.Comment

Well my town was DESTROYED. It was listed as the top 10 in CT to get whipped good. Trees on wires everywhere. I had crews from NC, SC, AL, and CO tell me we got hit harder in my town than the hardest hit areas of NC after Irene.

My question is did you brew them some coffee and bring it out to them? They were extremely appreciative when I did. Even stopped by and dropped off the mugs I gave them to use.Comment
