    Exhaust shops in RI/MA

I just finished my M50 swap, need a good place to have fabricate an exhaust from the headers to the muffler.

I already have a muffler, glasspack. Y pipe and 8 feet of pipe. But have no welder or pipe bending tools.

I called Rossis in west warwick and they want about 300 to have it done.

Im a bit low on funds after the swap :/

Anybody have the tools and skill to help me weld up an exhaust(Ill pay) or know another place?

    Thanks!!!!!

you and me are in the same spot, I have a welder though - there's a harbor freight nearby that probably has a cheap pipe bender - have you found a spot?

No , not yet. Ive got access to a welder. My Bosses or a friends. If i can bend it myself and clamp it all in place. Ill bring it somewhere to weld it.

Thanks for the idea, ill try my local Harbor frieght today. I heard their welders are shit tho.

exhaust piping isn't too thick but you're not gonna bend it with any HF bender. Buy a couple mandrel U-bends off ebay and cut them up, that's the way to do it.

Would a wire welder work well for exhaust? Or should i find a MIG for cheaper (coolege budget here) . Gonna need a welder eventually to patch rust anyways.

Gasless welder should work out...its not a stressed part so even though the welds wont be as good as a MIG theres not much stress on em anyways.

$300 isn't that bad a price actually. Try Quads in Narragansett though and ask if he can beat Rossi's. He probably can since you're supplying everything. Tell him I sent you, I used to work there and he usually gives a bit of a discount to people I send
