    And then this ad...

    (E36) 1993 BMW 325iS
2dr, Black on Black Leather currently w/ a checker board hood, 5spd, Zender Wing, Borbet Aluminum Rims. 190k. Owned by a Mechanic. Maintenance since has been done by the Technical Advisor to the BMW Club who has taken the car out and says it will easily make it to 400,000miles and that he senses Gearing mods.
She has eaten everything w/ 4cyl (moded civics, prelude, rsx-s, you name it) and has easily pulled away from tsx types, wrx sti, audi a4s, a big ole mercedes amg, and even mustang gts both at lights and highway! my lawyer is a led footed sports car collector who had a 350z, i destroyed it. He got a newer Z4, I destroyed it. Highway, corners, and redlight. Make no mistake- this is a True sports car who has only seen the tail lights of a +$200g Porsche, a C6 vette until the 130mph corner came up and it was all BMW, and just barely got pulled away from by 2 heavily moded, smoke blowin A4s up some huge hills, but just barely and im not a red line kinda guy. Dont get the wrong idea, I dont go beating on this car. Ive had fun w/ her from time to time, but 99.9% Im getting my MPGs in. I own a business making deliveries and use 80s-90s BMW reliablilty to do it. This car has made 34.5mpg driving 60-65mph and 30mpg at 75+mph. I have always known BMWs to get higher MPGs than their ratings, I think its because the speed limits in U.S. are slower. While 34.5mpg is very respectable for a Sports Car of this caliber, I just dont need a sports car to do this business and +40mpg makes a big difference when you drive as much as I do.
There are a few cosmetic eye soars, and some rust spots under the car, but I drive this car to make $ not to look cool (although I could mention it being a head turner). Its gotten rear end maintained by BMW Tech Advisor, and I just sent out the e-mail to have the front end gone through. The windshield isnt even a year old w/ lifetime waranty and the brakes were just done over the weekend. It gets regular oil changes of Mobil 1 Synthetic and only fed premium Mobil fuel. The engine is bone stock and will provide well over 200k miles of joy filled speeding miles to come. Another pre-vanos E36 is definatly on my list of future cars to own but Ive got other cars and this one is just a matter of bad timing for gas prices / work.
I will sell it for $1,400 or trade for
    1984 318i 5spd
    e30 325e 5spd (maybe)
    e21 320 well sorted (maybe)
grandma driven civic 5spd, preferably 1.5, and Im serious about the grandma driven. I dont know why people think FWD is fast, and I dont want anything to do w/ a car thats been treated as such. Civics are economy cars.
    40mpg VW like a golf
    a small VW diesel
Im more focused on an MPGer that faithfully starts and runs then how it looks, so go ahead and atleast let me know what youve got.
Ive also got a 1991 (E30) 318iS (M42 motor) Alpine White w/ Black Sports interior, short shift, Dinan Sports Chip, Cold air intake, M3 DTM exhuast, 17" Aluminum, black out tail lights, hood opens away from windsheild on these, CD, Alarm, Remote car start, Limo tints, electric everything and sunroof, lowered and does full lateral Gs around corners. 139k, engine rebuilt by BMW Tech and has been stored away and worked on by the Tech Advisor. I was saving it to be sold at upcoming BMW events at limerock. The monster of an engine and trans in the 325iS can be swapped right over on this car, last of the boxy style. Throw me an offer for both if you like.
btw- whoever ends up w/ this car gets the Tech Advisor to the BMW Club as a mechanic for less than half of what you normally pay (BMW dealership or Midas or whatever your place is). He's a good guy and knows these cars very well.

    (860) 899 - 4445
    I can send better pics
    Monster of an engine bhahahahahahaha
