Up for sale is a very clean Zinnoberrot 1987 325ES. This car is in nice shape and has a freshly installed M50TUB25. The swap was professionally done at a known BMW Shop, German Autosport. The motor was serviced and "refreshed" before being installed with new spark plugs, valve cover gasket, wrinkle black painted valve cover, valve cover hardware, serpentine belt, a good scrubbing & degreasing of the block, new exhaust manifold gaskets, & all new exhaust studs & nuts. At the same time, a rebuilt Z3 steering rack was installed using the E30Tech mounting kit. The stock Getrag 260 tranny was used along with a Euro 323i OEM lightweight flywheel purchased brand new from Germany and a new OEM sachs clutch kit. A "White325is" transmission brace with brand new OEM tranny mounts was used. The transmission has a UUC short shift kit that gives some of the shortest, tightest, and firmest shifts I have ever felt. The clutch pedal / travel is very good as the correct 323i throwout bearing was used in the install of the lightweight flywheel. Along with the swap, an E36 M3 radiator was installed with less than 5,000 miles of use, brand new radiator hoses, a Bimmerworld silicone intake boot, and new E28 M5 motormounts were also installed. Car is running a SPAL pusher fan to keep the car cool at idle. A freshly rebuilt 2002tii brake booster was used along with a brand new OEM master cylinder. The booster was rebuilt with all OEM seals and elbow, and it was sandblasted, primed 3 times, and painted with metal black paint. The car is running a Turner Motorsort tune chip which really wakes up the car over stock. The exhaust is custom from the manifolds back and was made by "Lou's Custom Exhaust." It is an aggressive exhaust when you're on it, but in normal use and especially cruising on the highway, it is very civil and quiet. The setup is a 2-1 collector into a single 2.75" pipe, into a resonator, into a single in-out muffler.
In the past 100 miles, the car has had new control arm bushings, new sway bar end links front and rear, new sway bar bushings, and an alignment. The suspension in the car is KYB shocks with Bav Auto sport springs all around. The car handles tight with no strange noises, clunks, or pulls. The wheels are Mile Miglia 1000 16" wheels, but the tires are no good and will need replacing in the very near future. Cosmetically, the car has a few minor issues. There is an area on he driver's side where the paint was scraped off and it has surface rusted over, there are a few areas of minor rust on the car (but the frame seems to be very solid), and the gutter trim is missing on one side. Overall, I would rate the exterior / paint at an 8/10. It looks perfect from 5 or 10 feet away. The car has professionally painted all-red tail lights that were installed with brand new OEM tail light gaskets to ensure there are no leaks. The interior is in very nice shape with clean sport seats. The interior is tan with black accents (door pulls, map pockets, kick panels) that look very nice. Overall, I would rate the interior an 8.5/10.
I'm looking for $5750 out of the car, I'm open to reasonable offers and I'm not looking for any trades. The only reason I'm selling the car is to fund an S50 swap into my late model E30. This is a very fun and very quick car, and if it wasn't for the new project, I would love to keep this car for a very long time. The car is located in Haverhill, MA and would need to be picked up here. Please PM with interest, or post here.
EDIT: All 4 tires were just replaced with brand new Continental run-flat tires.

ZHP Knob has been removed and replaced with a stock E36 knob.

Thanks for looking!
