    The New England Motorcycle Thread

OK, i know we have a Motorcycle Thread on the Off Topic Lounge but figured it'd be cool to get one going in the NE forum so we could possible set up some meets/group rides etc.

Post up your bikes, where you're located, all that stuff. I also work for a BMW motorcycle shop in Brookfield, so if anyone ever needs anything bike wise let me know and i'll hook you up, or if you want to kill time and test ride some new bikes

I'm in between Albany, NY and New Milford, CT

        No pics at the moment

I've been out of the motorcycle gig for a while, but I've had two F4I's, I rebuilt a Shadow 750VT from the 80's (aka The Thunder), and a newer SV 650 (rad bike). I cut my teeth on an 110 ATC, and a 230 quadsport...those were the days!

I should be able to find some pictures of my SV.

They dont make them anymore but you can pick em up used for $5-6k. They were around 8k new. I think we actually have one somewhere with like 20 miles on it haha

One of the fastest 450's out there. I've had mine up to an indicated 110mph at NHIS up in Louden. Great off road too, factory Ohlins rear suspension. Front usually needs updated springs/oil.

I had no idea SV havers were also e30 lover. Trying to sell my k6 SV650S, pogo suspension finally got to me....

Too bad BMW no longer makes a k1300r sport.

I loved my SV, put around 35k on it then sold it. Still kicking myself!

If I had the space and could afford to stash it somewhere I would, so I can get nostalgic in 20y and rebuild it with my son but space is at a premium in the garage. Also I dont get "that" feeling anymore when I ride it.

                              Sorry for the threadjack

Back to your schedule programming, here's what I'd replace it with
