Halloween Blizzard of 2011 hoping this year is not a repeat!

Poor car didn't get into garage the night, from what I gather the weather has been cold enough to see sleet already. Not ready for it yet I will say.

Not that im excited for winter but we barely got any winter weather in upstate ny last year. I got new skis that never saw the snow. Not looking for a halloween blizzard but i'd like more than a 20 inch base on the slopes by Christmas.
    Swanny!
    SUCKERS.

Oh I like snow too just I'm not ready for it at this point. I have been on the road for nearly a month straight so I have wanting to get home and finish up some projects.

Week without power and heat could not be considered fun.

I didn't lose power either because I'm on our grocery stores power grid, but don't tell people that..man do they get pissed when they find out.

QFT. I don't know exactly how cold it got in the house, but it was to the point where we could see our breath. Got a generator now though, so bring it.

I'm hoping for no snow, or brief snow at that!

We had our gas stove to keep the house at 57 running two burners. Wasn't warm nor freezing but lack of showers and power sucked. They'd get it going only to have it go off again.

Not snow just wind and rain this time. Darn jet crapped out so I'll be riding the storm out at home vs sunny Tampa Florida.

It's started to get stormy here at noon and now, at 3pm, lost power. I have a standby generator but its just annoying that it's not that bad yet and we are already out.

That was pathetic to call that a crazy storm.

Word - having grown in in Central Florida, this was a non-event, for me anyways. Good luck to everyone that was adversely affected by Sandy.
