    good paint shop for full custom spray

    Did a quick search of the ne subforum and only noticed 2 older threads so I thought I'd throw this out there.

    Does anyone in the boston area or up to 2 hrs away have a shop they know or like (or have heard good things about)? I'm trying to have my fiance's e30 repainted before I mount up the euro bumpers. It has some rust but I'd like to replace those panels and strip all trim etc interior off the car and have a full repaint in a custom color.

    Any leads? I'm trying to spend 1k-1.5k so I'd like to do as much of the non-spray work myself.

    This is also open to any sort of skilled body shop guys who want to do it in their off hours. I'll supply the shell and paint.

          I might be able to help you out. Did you already buy the paint? If so was that outside of your budget?

            Anyone know what they'd charge for a full respray? TimKninja, maybe you'd have an idea since you're having them do work.

            Looks like they do great work;

              ^^ PeteD, not yet. It's kindof a special case, her car is a metallic pearl pink. I'd like to keep it as close to that as possible, although I'd probably skip the pearl this time around.

                Best bet would be to call him and have him look at your car. Full respray might not be cheap. but hes does outstanding work.

                My boss payed about $2400 for a respray on his E46 M3 with a special clearcoat. Hes also good friends with him.

                          Hey guys.

                          Tim is usually there on the weekends, however, no structured hours. Just call him and leave a message with your number and that you spoke to me and want to shoot down there for a quote. If you call him on a weekday he will let you know when he will be there on the weekend.

                          Here is his info:

                          Located in Dracut, MA

                          I'll talk to him too and give him a heads up.

                              What paint does he spray with. I thinking I might still get my zinno narrow body shot by Victor come spring. Basically depends on if I find anymore rust this winter.
