Can anyone help with frame rust repair in CT?

Can anyone repair the rear upper spring perch on my frame for a reasonable price?

It's pretty much rotted out, but it's not the worst I have seen by any means. I can take pictures tonight. The part that extends from the frame out into the wheel well is the mainly rotted part and has been pushed up so that it is starting to fold in towards the frame.

You're right down the road from Matt McGinn at Sports Car Restoration, one of the better BMW restoration shops on the east coast. They do legit work, so you might want to swing by one day, explain what you're looking for, and see if they've got room for another project.

I got quoted $500-600 at SCR. Is that reasonable? Is it worth it?

Sounds cheap for major structural work. Do it.
