Noobie here looking for a manual swap for my 89 325I. I recently got a great deal on a alpine white 325 with Cardinal Red interior. The auto trans is in great shape, however I cant stand it. I daily a B7 S4 so you can imagine the difference. If anyone has a swap or knows someone please let me know. Thank you all in advance :)

If you can drive to Maine, there is a person in the Portland area on CL parting out a wrecked E30, 5spd swap is available. I've talked to him about some parts, and his pricing is pretty low. Look on Maine Craigs if it's within your range.

I have a 4 cylinder 5-speed I'm parting out, I think you can use some parts (obv not the tranny itself)
