    Hey guys-

I just bought a duplex in Salem and I need some tenants.

    Check it out...

    Cheers!

Why do you mention the first floof as having forced hot water and second has electric?

I will say my mortgage is less than 1900 a month. Best of luck filling it. I have read over the years that rent is higher when economy is in crapper. You might want to list it on the Coast Guard/Hanscom housing list if they still allow that.

Cool place! I lived over on Green Street from '01-'05. Just visited last weekend for the first time in at least that many years, and damn, dat traffic! And I used to think it was bad when I lived there... Cool town though, definitely miss it sometimes.

It's a common question for renters. Heat is often not included around these parts.

The heating bill, therefore, will rely upon the type of heating system you have (and the energy loss of your dwelling as well as the temperature you set your thermostat to), electric heat being pretty much the most expensive way to heat a place, ahead of oil, and then natural gas.

                What Fred said.

Our rent is consistent with the Salem market. I'm also willing to negotiate with a possible tenant if they are the right fit. I will be living below them so fit is important here. I'd have the place rented by now if I wasn't living in the building!

If it was closer to the city it could get up towards 2500...
It's nuts there now, part of why I moved back to western mass. Well that and following my lady.
