Tdi e30?

Someone told me that they had seen a VW TDI transplanted into an E30 at one of the VW shows in Ct over the past summer.

True or false? Anyone know anything about it?

I know of a 1.8T swapped E30 is this what you are reffering too? His name is Mike Lynch he's a cool dude.

The only odd is the layout he used. The weight could have been shifted back some.

Maybe that is what my friend saw.

I'm curious as to what may have been done to get the engine mounted, and adapted. Also how far forward the engine ended up living. I suppose the 1.8t would be about the same to get to work.

Looked like a 6 mounted in the bay minus #5 and #6.

No thought it may have been on their site since it was in the stage area. Sharky aka Brian might have photos of it since he was close by, as was Jizo aka Jose.

I snapped very few photos but did look at it.
