Nice snow day, first day work has cancelled in

a long time. I have about 5 inches already.

Nobody else is loving the snow? I busted out my snowshoes and looking forward to a walk in the woods, crazy since yesterday was 48 degrees here and all the ice from the storm night before melted.

We are at about 10 inches at noon.

Really the governor declared a state of emergency as did CT so they want people off the roads. Surprised work would want the liability of you on the road.

So today I was outside clearing my path down to my barn. I noticed something moving in the tree line not far from where I was.


My younger sister is a big bird gal and said it's mating season for them so I might start seeing more which is cool.
