Who wants an NE big BMW E30 meet in NY

I am trying to set up a big meet with Frank (m3fan4eva) We wanted to make it in central or western MA to make the driving distances fair for both MA people and NY people. This could be it. What do you guys think?

Bear Mountain meet is mostly newer models though E90/92's - and so far only up to 20 cars...lots of parking space then we can hit Famous Daves BBQ place for lunch accross the street.

You wanna do late august Mike? That's fine with me. Should give people plenty of time to free their schedule. This will be difficult for the MA people to get to.. unless they take the ferry from new london, CT. If that's the case, then it's a great central location, but could be expensive for you guys. If I go, I plan to drive thru NYC.

Ya, it'll take like 4 hrs to get there for me, going through NYC. I'd probably do it only if I can visit my buddy in Brooklyn the same weekend.

just meet at watkins glen. Zippo Grand Prix weekend in september 7-9. BMW is the featured car for the show/weekend. last year there were beasts like this





and it wasn't even a bmw featured event. should be a TON of bimmers out. I'm hoping to have my touring s52's and 5lugged in time.

I'm down for a meet but it would be awesome to have it around MA somewhere. I always find myself driving to CT or NY for meets or something like that. Favor the MA guys for once!
