What shop do you recommend for a pre-purchase inspection?

Just curious which shops you prefer for your pre-purchase inspections in the Portland metro area. I'm going to need one when I find an e34. If you can, please tell me how much they charge.

The problem with the dealers is cost, they're $200. I believe most indies will do it for around $100-$120.

Mike O'Hara Service Inc: Exclusively BMW

Not the place to take it if you want to do a swap but they are some of the best in town.

Mike O'Hara's garage replaced the timing belt on my BMW and gave my car a thorough checkup. Mechanics there were happy to you about your car.
