Anyone know a good shop that knows e30

Looking to find a shop around the olympia tacoma area to do some work on my car. I need my transmission rebuilt. Or a new one. But basically i need to find a shop that knows e30s and wont soak me for every penny in my ash tray. If you guys know of a place let me know. Thanks

Is it just a indy shop or does he have a crew?

dont know if it matters if a person is a indy or has a crew. one of the absoulte best bmw bike wrenches around here is an independent ( well not here in corvallis, hes a.........nuff said)

one option would be to pay someone like Matt B to R&R yours and have it rebuilt by a "pro" could save you some big $$$$ on the R&R labor

thats what I do for people if its beyone me, especially things like trannys, pull them out and take to a "pro" like steve prokov ( motorcycle) up near portland. my labor costs are half of any shop around as I do it on the side/hobby

Buy this tranny (http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/pts/1282389892.html) and have John (JParker) install it. It's just him, but he does great work.
