Good idea.

I had my brand new roundels stolen from the parking lot at my friend's apartment a couple months ago, yet the ones on his e30 (parked next to mine, roundels were just as new) were untouched. The money lost pisses me off less than the fact that there are fucks who go around and steal things off our cars. :(

I've also knocked one off while driving, but never had anything stolen from my car.

when i had my jetta my Euro vr6 lip always got jacked. one time i was walking out of chipotle... and half the lip was missing???

Zip ties own the stock clips. It will take someone who's trying to steal it forever to get it off.

This is how I kept the lip on on my old car, didn't even bother when the clips broke. It's a bitch if you ever have to put the thing on a tow truck though, unless you have tin snips or something in the car. Maybe something like this would work better.

If you are looking for a replacement is lip for the late model plastic bumper cars I have one with about 500 miles on it in my garage. I got it from BavAuto about a year ago.
