    brazillian jiu jitsu?

Anyone wanna learn/train/roll with me? I'm fairly new to this so if you're already experienced i'd like to learn from you or learn as we go along.

    Got mats?

I've got a buddy that trains with a local Salem team called Chaos. He's pretty good and hsi Jitz has improved dramatically since he first started. He's got 3 amateur belts now but he's taking a break since he just got a job as a math teacher (a'la Rich Franklin). But, I'm sure there are people in PDX that would roll with you. I'm looking at getting some mats here for my kids so I can start showing them some wrestling stuff.

Ken, I have a friend who goes there and it's quite spendy, like 125bucks a month but i dont know her plan works out. I'm primarily trying to do this the cheap way haha.

David right?, I sorta have mats....I have a 24hr fitness gym membership and they have some mats so if anyone has a membership we should roll/train/learn whatever.

It's hard trying to do this stuff by myself haha, oh and the gym grappling dummy never fights back!

Who is your friend that's there?

I'd go in and talk to Greg (owner) about wanting to do the BJJ classes only.
PS jiu jitsu is boring as hell to learn

her name is brittney, short tattooed girl, she's moved over to the east side now so i'm not sure if she even still goes there. Plus I'm also over in the gateway area so driving to tigard is bit of a drive. I've been talking to Troy(bouncer) over at the acrop and he teaches jiu jitsu, but again i can't afford a gym membership plus jitsu classes also.

PSS I actually think it's fun to learn, i did it with my friend for a bit and then he just stopped, different strokes i guess.
