For all those people who find it more convenient to bother you with their question rather than to Google it for themselves.

Not to be a dick or anything, I just love using that thing.

from my own personal experience, legal tint is 35%. Also rear turn signals have to be either red or yellow no white I actually got a ticket for that....

It really all just depends on you, your car, and attitude.

There are laws about all of the above. Oregon law states that headlights may only emit a white light, not blue purple yellow red etc. You cannot have any red lights on the front of your car, or blue lights anywhere. Havent heard about ride height laws, but thats not to say there arent any. Front plates are mandatory as well.

I have beyond legal tint, no front plate, yellow low beams, smoked tails, rear euro fogs, screen in sight of the driver while in motion, dropped on coils, etc. I have been rolled and the officer pointed out that, "you are the one with yellow headlights, no front plate, and no marker lights up front. You need to fix your turn signal, I dont think its working." No comment or warning about all the illegal bits. Its all up to the officer, and how much of a tool you are, or arent. And how much of a tool your car makes you look like.

true that, I drove around for years with 20% tint all around got pulled over a bunch of times and no cops have said anything yet. And even if you get a ticket for a lighting issue or tint issue or plate issue, small things like that are easily reversible and if you change it and dispute it in court it'd get dismissed.

In washington you have to keep all parts of the main "chassis" above the rim height. I had a friend with a bug get a ticket for that... with 165/45 r15

Rear taillights are supposed to be red technically, and front turns are supposed to be yellow. I've been pulled over alot, and as long as you are respectful to the officer, they wont go into the little minuscule things, but they COULD, if you want to act like a little teenager.

I drove like an ass, raping every corner, burnouts everywhere, sliding corners, all that shit while booming my stereo the whole damn time. Got pulled over like 3 times in 15 years in Portland, no tickets.

HUGE smoky burnout ripping across a yellow light in broad daylight in my old Nova in Vancouver...cop pulls me over and asks me about my damn car! No mention of ANYTHING until the last second when he says "I might wanna not smoke my tires around town".

I move to Hippyland, AKA Corvallis, and I get pulled over 4 times in 2 weeks, 1 ticket.

I move to Eugene...no hassles in Eugene, but across the way in Springtucky, cops follow me EVERYWHERE, pulled over every couple of days. As I am 100% legal (and 8 years sober) I gets no tickets, but cops actively check me, including sobriety checks, all kinds of bullshit.

All in all, 20 years driving in Oregon, I got all of my hassles in small burgs, no major worries in actual cities.

Oh yeah, if you are Asian, Mexican...well, fuck, basically anything but white you will get harassed. Even a Eastern European accent will get you some shit here.

Keep a front plate on your car at all times.

                    Luke

having a car in violation, is asking for a pull over, and who knows what else the cops can find.
                      why give them an excuse

                      however

IN some states they have headlight height rules, kind of wish they did here in oregon, tired of all the yahoos with their jacked up trucks , with their lights stuck on highbeam sitting behind me at a light

and dont shoot me, kind of wish oreogn had safety inspections, love all these guys with no tail lights, no blinkers, flashlights duct tapped to the hood for a headlight,
if they are that lack on those items, they probabally are on brakes etc. been rearended more then one time in my life from some yahoo who could not stop as fast as me, and one time on a mortorcycle at a stop light, that was fun :(
or nearly rearended people because they did not have functiong stop lights and said,,,,,oh look honey a yard sale and panic stop without warning

I too am in FULL support of safety inspections, even if done at random.

I would like to know that the assfuck behind me has decent brakes, and that their balljoints aren't about to fall out of their sockets.

If you have to have colored corners (red and yellow) in OR how is it the some of the new car manufactures have clears on there cars as OE? In Texas you just have to run the yellow bulbs if the corners are clear.

Clear corners with clear bulbs, bright HIDs (not aimed properly), No front plate, 20% all around, slammed... That is, IF you ever see the Croak-Mobile on the streets.

The lighting has to be either red or yellow. And I don't know of any manufacturers that sell their cars with white or blue turn signal bulbs. The rear turn signal lenses can be clear but the light emitting from it has to be either red or yellow.
