Both Oregon teams left their game at home this year. Neither team played anywhere near their potential. I think it had a lot to do with the intensity of the Civil war game. There's a huge aftermath from that kind of emotional and pivotal game that will shake you up, win or lose.

In the case of the Beavers, they didn't have the time to prepare and recover. They played horrible, no where near their normal intensity or precision.

Same for the Ducks. They looked like they were a completely different team. Their option plays barely worked and they were not able to adapt at all to what OSU threw at them.

I think the Pac 10 was so intense this year that there just wasn't much left at the end. We beat ourselves up pretty bad this year.
