Know of anybody parting out a 318ti in the Portland/Vancouver area?

Looking for someone that is parting out a 318ti and is willing to sell me their antenna, grommet, and antenna base. They are parts #1, 2, and 4:

It's going on an E30 because I'm tired of dealing with the power antenna. :hitler:

Still leaves me short #1 and #2, and I don't really want to pay the $150+ it'd cost me to get it from a dealership, especially Rasmussen. That grommet is nearly twice the expected price for them (GetBMWParts, BavAuto). But thanks for the info, Matt. :)

If you do stop in at Rasmussen be sure to say hello :)

for the base, you can use one from a z3 as well IIRC.

You KNEW I own an E30. Where else would I end up at? :D So that's where you ended up at. We should get together. There's a herf on Thursday at the Shilo. It's being ran by the Portland Cigar Club so it might be busy but we can get a small table off the side to tell stories.

And boy, I got a doozy for you. :D

As for my search for a 318ti, there was a guy parting out a wrecked Z3 in Newberg on CL. Sent him a msg to find out if he still had his setup or not, but never got a response back and figured he doesn't have it anymore.

Either way... anybody know of someone parting out a 318ti or Z3 that isn't listed on CL or these forums?

Man, I wish there was somewhere to smoke without so many people! I like it when it's mostly empty the best :D

Why in the world are you looking for a 318ti? E36's are the biggest pieces of shit BMW has ever made. I've driven some of the nicest, cleanest, best maintained, lowest mileage examples around and even they feel like a Hyundai (even E36 M3's) compared to E30's, E34's, E46's, or E39's.

                You sir, fail at reading.

I'm looking for an 318ti/Z3 for their fixed antenna setup (as detailed in the first post). I'm tired of dealing with the power antenna on the E30 and just want to get something simple. Getting the setup from a dealership would be about the same as getting a new power antenna, so I'm hoping to find someone parting out a car to get it for cheaper.

That's what I thought but then I read your post above my last one and it sounded like you were looking for the car, as it's a whole lot easier to find just the parts than the whole car to grab them off of :D
