Looking for a project Vert!

I have always loved the convertibles. I also would like a project car around. I am in the market for a vert. Does anyone have a vert with a blown motor or a project car the are willing to let go for 1100 or so?

Try craigslist. I've been searching fairly regularly, and there seem to be some verts for less than 1100 on there. Just a suggestion/starting off point. Unless you are looking for an enthusiast-owned car, in which case my statement has no bearing.

yep craigs list, thats where I got my project vert here in corvallis area ( basket case, cracked head, shot suspension but straight and clean)

I assume thats your car in the sig, I havent seen it around town ( corvallis), I drive a 91 black vert, lowered, winter bottle caps and tires right now

Yeah, I haven't seen yours either. I have a 90 glacier blue w/ MT2 spoiler, lowered, euro ellipsoids w/HID's, etc... I also have a 91 burgundy vert w/hardtop, perfectly stock. Us Corvallis folks need to have a meet sometime when the weather gets nicer.
