yea man, 2 metal pipes in exhaust, and they test gas cap...

and they run a thing from your cig lighter to power their thingy.

BUY A NEW GAS CAP BEFORE YOU GO IN. CAUSE MINE ALWAYS FAILED. THEN AFTER TEST RETURN CAP.

They have never check my motor or anything. its mostly women working

here is a fun little fact: the grounds of the Vancouver WA emissions test facilities are owned and operated by SnapOn tools of Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Smog test employees are paid by Snap On.

Thats a cool little tid-bit. If you are wanting to smog a car that is newer than 96 all they do is plug the car in OBDII style. If you are wanting to DEQ an e30 they just shove something up the exhaust pipe and make you hold the car at like 35 mph on a dyno. I can't say I remember what they do for older AWD cars.

yea i just bought mine and went through, the lad could hardly get in my car (out either) and the pretty much shoved two metal rods in my remus, like she couldnt squeez the centimeter diamerter rod in a 2.5 inch pipe. lucky she didnt damage id be fucking pissed. she takes it up to 35 in first gear like at 4500 and told me that i was producing to much co2 or something. hum i wonder why, try a lower gear.

they are idiots there. you have to baby sit them.

oh and she couldnt figure out how to open/ close the hood.

go to the one in salmon creek.

they likely will not. IF its tuned to go lean.

tell them your hood latch is bad

                    worked for my friends corvette

they won't even ask you to pop the hood, they don't care. I think I remember point blank telling them I had a swapped motor in mine. I still never opened the hood.

Only reason they'll open the hood is if they have a hair up their butt OR your cigarette lighter doesn't work. Make sure it's functional...

Danny, is your car registered in that county? I don't know how you're planning on testing it there if it is not. But, if you can get it registered on the east side of the state (509 area code) you will not have to do any emissions testing at all. Just go get your tabs and you're good to go. Insurance is cheaper if you're registered over here too.

All of Clark had emission testing back in 2002.

I can't imagine it has changed.
