    Need my garage back...

... Want to get another project I can actually move forward on. I have a no-titled '84 325e with body work done. Has front struts and rear subframe, so it'll roll. Really only good for a track rat. Rust spot on the driver's side tail light (very, very minimal). The floor pans are clean with some surface rust behind the driver's seat because the PO jacked the car up right on the little pop-out round metal plugs. Gutted interior. All glass is in tact and in good shape. Windshield has a rock chip that happend literally 3 hours after I had the front windshield replaced (facepalm).

Has fenders, doors and trunk lid. Quater panels are straight and true. No engine, no trans, no drive line. Crap steering rack I installed so it can be steered/moved. Side moldings are there. Window trim is all there. Trunk is pretty beat up but there. Literally, just a shell. $200 and it's yours for a dedicated track car.

The situation with the title is pretty simple but annoying for me. I bought this car nearly 3 years ago. Drove the crap out of the dying ETA motor. It had tabs for a year or so and I was poor. The previous owner never wrote down when I bought it so I drove it without transfering the title. Irresponsible I know, but it is what it is. Somewhere in that period of time and moving 4 times, I lost the title. I imagine it's gone for good and I haven't been successful in contacting the PO to see if he can file something for me.

I had plans on finishing up the bodywork and getting it swapped, bumper update, etc etc.

If there's interest in a Pro-3 or track rat shell I'm motivated to get it out of my garage. $350.00 is a starting point. The car is not complete (hood, front valance etc) and I understand this. I'm motivated to get it gone. Thanks.

      Will do, Luke!

I tried talking to a DMV about this and they said I still needed the title or some sort of release from the PO. I can't track this kid down to save my life.

I haven't even been to the CCA forum in over 4 years, I don't think. Would anyone there even be interested?

Honestly though, the car looks like ass right now. It's roughly 3 different colors, the original paint is coming off in strips, there's no real clear coat left, there's no engine, driveline or real suspension beyond what lets it roll. No interior. Cracked dash. Most of it's pulled apart. Found a Clifford alarm wired into the car I may try to salvage...

Someone from the forums came by and picked up a few things, he can attest to the ugly nature of the car as it sits right now.

the car is definitely interesting...i do agree that i would make a great shell for a pro3 car though......

                    Ah, hey C.

Yeah, roughly all it's good for at this point. The glass is magically disappearing in it as words getting out it had pop-outs (pass. side gone now), etc etc. Soon I'll be left with nothing but literally, a shell.
