Help me find an e30 to buy

Actually, my best friend Jeff is looking for an e30. What he wants is a late model 2 door 5 speed car. Could be a 325 or 318. Basically what he is looking for is a mechanically strong, straight car. Paint condition is not an issue as a family friend of his owns a body shop and can do work on the cheap for him.

He'd like to spend about $4000 - $5000. That can be a nice, well sorted car, or a mechanically sound one that needs a bit of body help.

So does anyone have a car for sale, or a lead on one? Any help would be much appreciated.

I bet the 318 could be had for $3k cash, the price has dropped quite a bit in the past few weeks

Thank you, I hadn't seen that 325. I believe my friend is going to look at that 318. I think it can be had for 3 for sure. The owner said it needs front brakes, drivers side control arm and a muffler.
