new family/commuter car. E39 content. (excuse for a new project)

needed something to haul the kids around in... well, more so, something to stick my 18" staggered style 5s on. (a local machine shop opened up the center bore a couple days ago, so they'll fit)

picked it up for a VERY fair price. 70k miles, all service records since new, window sticker, one owner, local car. the typical "little old man" car.

it's a 2001 530i (m54) steptronic, with a grip of options.

literally not a scratch on the super stealth anthracite paint. and, "free" 17" style 42s for my E30. :p

by wednesday it'll be dropped, and sitting on the 18s.

Luke, i'll be in need of some audio. lemme know when you'll be around again. (wanna ditch the satellite radio, most likely.)

Lookin' good. I enjoy the E34 looks wise more than this generation, but that's ONLY due to the rear tail lights. Picky, I know. Keep us updated on how it turns out :)

yessir.. the E39 is on the 18s now... just waiting for the H&R cup kit to arrive.
the style 42s are being re-finished with gunmetal centers and a polished lip, for the red E30.

thanks man.. i need your help w the audio. there's a satellite radio thing in the car, that i can get to turn on, but there's no sound coming out. upon inspection, it seems there's nothing leading out from the little box. just a power input, and antenna input.

nah.. right across the street from him tho. i actually stopped in to his place to look at what he had, and on my way out, a friend stopped me, and said that he remembered me looking for an E39... i walked into luxmoto, and they had it sitting there, for 9k. @73k miles, sport , convenience, & luxury pkg, 17" style 42s ... one owner, with ALL records, i couldnt pass it up.
