    Van Westervelt / e30 Groupie

I'm trying to reach Curt to follow up on a payment I had sent him for a part. I have not heard back from him since sending the payment well over a week ago. I see that he as a very high number of posts on the site and figured knows others in this region personally. If you know him, please do me a favor and ask him to get back to me.

    Thank you,
    Ryan

does that mean i should just assume that he shipped the item?

I'm only trying to track him down because of what is said in the Transaction Feedback thread for him.

I don't know, it just means he won't contact you, he disappears for a while then comes back like nothings wrong.

I never got a text Tony! lol

Danny, yea, I do disappear. My life doesnt revolve around a forum or car. And everything is okay when I come back, just have to get caught up is all. Relax broseph.

I do disappear for whiles sometimes. Sorry. Going back to school and working 16 hour days after a nine month holiday took me by surprise. I have a few people's items that have been paid for in the last couple weeks. All are going out today and tomorrow. Sorry gents!

That's cool that you're busy, as is everyone else on this board, but you should have enough respect to acknowledge that you've received peoples payments. A simple email or pm on the forum is all it would take to let the buyer know that the transaction is actually underway.

Do you have a tracking number for my part?

I had to file a paypal claim against Kurt. Listen man, i don't care if the parts come from my neighbor or siberia, i just want my car running again and i was depending on you AND $700!! to come through, having 6000+ posts and good e30 knowledge. If you make very little money on these parts is your fault for having to ship twice or shipping 1/3 items.

School is not an excuse for lack of communication. Please check your e-mail, ship me the parts if you have them or refund money. I also saw how the head came from california so i'm even doubting whether or not you even have the s52 block.

My phone# is on the paypal claim, feel free to call me anytime...and please be mindful of the 3hr difference 8)

You got all these items plus some, I sent you a the lifters, and a 2nd set that had gotten wet at no charge.

What are you talking about the head came from Cali? Would you mind explaining and stating you got everything? You got a screaming deal and you know it.

I talked to you for a week about buying them while I had free time, then you low balled me even lower, then got back to me once I was busy saying okay and moving forward. I tried to make it happen before I was busy but no dice.

Things happen, the head I had cleaned for you was cracked in three spots and warped. I could have pulled a Joe Funk and just sent it to you, but I had another one cleaned and resurfaced as well for you.

Lack of communication for those 2 weeks is on me, but I recalled you saying you were going to be gone, so I didnt sweat it, thats on me and I am sorry.

But in the end, you got a killer deal, it took a little longer, and I am still confused about this head from california thing... ?

Listen Kurt, that post was before i even obtained your phone # which if i hadn't obtained, by my many means, i would have never found out that you needed the money to ship my parts. I would have never gotten an voluntary update otherwise. Do you know how easy is to take money from someone online like this? Very easy. Paypal buyer security is actually very limited, ask me how I know.

The box for the head had a label from california, it doesnt matter where it came from. I just thought you had to scramble last minute to get a head since it took so long to get here. Thank you regardless, really.

You did charge me an extra $50 for the lifters AND the second set is not for e36 they are way wider. Thank you i guess, now i have to guess what car they are from and sell them. The head was not my fault and had you pulled a Joe Funk, i would have put you in Jail.

I went away a week after I sent you the money and explained that you didn’t have to ship parts asap and could do it over the next week if you wanted to and I could still have my parts when I arrived. I still had to wait two weeks after my arrival. Even if I flew to china I would have replied. Check how many posts I made just on r3v that week… I don’t know how many wiring PM’s I answered that week too. If I recall you have a high end phone if you were able to check an e-mail for tracking information from your phone. No further comments on your lack of communication.

In the end, i got my parts, it was a good deal and everything is in SUPERB CONDITIONS, i admit it. It was very difficult dealing with you and I will not dare try it again. Maybe it was just bad timing for you, everyone has bad times. People will give you the benefit of the doubt just like me.

The lifters came out of that head, the 2nd set came back from the machine shop that they pulled from the first head. So unless they switched them on me, which is doubtful, they are the same.

The lifters weren't part of the deal originally. It was head and block, naked. You got those shipped to you cross country, cleaned and in great shape for a deal. I wasn't going to ship out more parts for nothing. Just sayin'.

Saying I was going to do this or that and never hear from me again etc is quite the stretch and you cant really make those claims. You don't KNOW what is or was going to happen. This isn't my life and it gets put on hold sometimes, but I always make good on any of my dealings.

You got what you wanted and then some for a great deal. Granted it took a little while longer than anticipated, but nothing ridiculous.

Yeah i got what i wanted and rather late than never as i explained to you. I started my engine finally last week so its all good.

now for the record, look at our pm's. Infact, look at the Paypal payment title. Head, block and lifters specifically. I'm also telling you that the lifters are different. They didnt fit the bearing ledges by good amount. Bro leave it at this, i'm glad you stepped up to the plate and did what you had to do.
                            No more e30s for me.
