    Where to sell cat converters?

I've got 2 OEM cats I need to get rid of. I took them to Metro Metals NW here in Portland they they offered me $25 a piece. Fuck that. What are these things worth, and where do I take them? One of them is from an e34 535i, fucker weighs 75lbs and is HUGE. Must be worth some cheddar to someone...

A few years ago I sold my stock 325i cat on ebay for $235+ ship. Granted, prices were much higher back then, but you will still be able to get top dollar. Just be sure to put them in the right section and do not mention which model they came off of.

Prices have gone WAYYYY down vs 2-3 years ago where an e30 cat was worth 250 in scrap. Diff model cats used diff amounts of precious metals too, so they arent all worth the same as 'cats.' And just cause they are heavy doesnt mean they have any of the precious metals even left in them. A lot of them are blown through and/or clogged with bs.
