Hey guys. My father-in-law is looking for a clean, lower milage 5spd facelift e30. Condition takes precedence over all else. I'd place this in WTB but it's gotta be PNW local.

I did see that one. Looks really nice. The ODO is a little high for him.. if it was m20 powered I'd be inclined to talk him into it. I realize 160k is actually low for an e30..

A 2.7 is a m20. It's just an m20 with the bottom end swapped out from an eta. It makes the car a 2.7i instead of a 2.5i. I would find out if it was rebuilt before the swap. A 2.7 with an i head is a nice swap because extra cubic inches never hurt anyone. Should be more torquey down low with the same performance on the top end.

He was referring to the one Leland linked to, the 318is thats listed here in the PNW section.

157k probably isn't really a lot for a 318is, but for 5k you can do better if you have a little time. Just keep checking CL and when the right car pops up show up at their door with cash.

I know the kid who owns this car. He flips cars all day long! I would be VERY careful about this one.
