What's going on with the wheels...are they stock, with the centers painted black?

The body shop in Portland that sprayed my car took the rear spoiler down pretty far (like Archies), and so far, so good.

Yes the wheels are stock with the centers painted to match the car. I'll get some side shots up later this weekend.

Talk about a set of ancient tires, AVS intermediates have been out of production since 96ish.

I wouldn't go hot rodding on them any time soon if I was you.

Funny you mention that. I know there ancient and what not but they were prime in there day. I'm looking for a new set a tires but it's very difficult finding a 225/50ZR15. As for the hot rodding, not going to happen anytime soon, especially with these tires.

Seen this car once, flashed the lights at you(in the X3) and turned around but you were gone before I could catch up. Wish I were back in Port Orchard to check it out.

You could run Toyo T1R's and there are a few other decent tires out there for the car or step to 16's but it's getting to the point where this diameter tire is just disappearing from the shelves.

Oh don't get me wrong AVS intermediates were the awesome for a few years.

Might not have been me. The previous owner lives in Port Orchard. And if it was me I've only been in Port Orchard in it once and that was Monday.
