Was the leather torn there?? I don't think I've ever even rolled those things out. My sincere apologies!

Yeah, it looks like someone just cut the leather seam there all the way across. Maybe they replaced the thigh support part and had to get it out. The correct way would have been to simply cut the thread in one spot and remove the thread!

That's okay, I'll be able to sew it up. I'll either get a new piece of leather to put there or see if I can use the existing cut leather.

Do you have an m20 oil pan?

I have a Shwarz that was mildly bent in the middle until I pulled it out. Fits an IS lip great and you can't see it.
