Horrible choice. Do not get work done by these thieves. Or should I just say 'this' because its all the same guy, Joseph Gilmore.
Poor work carried out without proper tools, and literally stole money from me.
I have a judgement against him, but he likes 'cash' deals so he can hide it, not pay taxes and file for bankruptcy.sigpicComment

I met Joseph and almost bought a car from him a few years ago and he seemed like a pretty good guy. He was selling a customers car and when I came back to buy it after looking at it he informed me that he had discovered some additional issues with the car recommended that I not buy it until the issues are addressed. Seemed like a decent thing to do.Horrible choice. Do not get work done by these thieves. Or should I just say 'this' because its all the same guy, Joseph Gilmore.

A decent person does not steal money, dodge everyone, do work for cash as to not report it and file for bankruptcy. No sense of accountability, poor quality work, and if push comes to shove, you'll get the shaft.sigpicComment

I've never heard any bad things before about Munich Motorworks, all the feedback I've heard has been good.
Personally if I need work done I can't do myself (alignments, welding, etc) I take it to Pacific Motorsports. The owner Mark is a dedicated e30 nut, as is their lead tech Brandon. They've always done perfect work for me.Comment

Let me introduce you to the half dozen people I know of that have been screwed by Munich Motoworks.
Funny that you mention Brandon, he is the one who did some of the work at Munich. Improperly installed real wheel bearings and bent two brand new e30 m3 rear hub flanges. Those aint cheap son.sigpicComment

In all honesty Curt you seem to have bad experiences at lots of places and with lots of people. Experiences that no one else seems to share.

my theory is, if you are doing something as a professional, you should make sure that everything is done properly so this ˆ kinda stuff never happens. i know that at work. i check multiple times before handing my handy work to back in the customers hand...

Like where or with who? I had no problem with Pacific, before Brandon started there. I had them do some of my work when I didnt have time. Ive seen him work when he was with Joseph @ Munich, hence my parts being fucked up.

And there are many people with the same experience with Joseph. Or if you are referring to Joe Fuck (Funk), I can direct you to loads more people. But I know you and him are butt buddies, so whatev.sigpicComment

Brandon has been wrenching on e30s since we were all still in middle school. I find it very hard to believe he bent 2 M3 hubs; those things aren't exactly made of tin foil. You'd have to try very deliberately to bend one.Comment

ok buddy. I watched him hammer the hubs onto the car with a steel block and a sledge hammer. Then had to destroy the spacers that he hammered on after as the hubs were flared out from his dumb ass.
I met him when he was first putting together the e30 that was his dads euro s50 car a decade ago. Speak for yourself, not others.sigpicComment
