          Depending on the track, PRO3 cars have been using 3.91s (rarely though), 4.10 (good all around easy to get diff), 4.27 (with 14" tires) and 4.45 (with 15" tires). Even seen a 3.64 used for a short time by mistake. LOL.

          Quite a few ratios came in the medium case BMW rear diffs. Most will give you lousy gas mileage in a street car though.

              iirc 391 came in the ix as a viscus. also in the early e36 autos but they are not a direct bolt in for a e30....you want a 373s

                i think the 3.93 is off the auto is model which is direct bolt on??

                    no if you are talking e30 it was a auto 4.10.... 3.73 5 speed
                    e36 (325i or is doesnt really matter) 5speed...3.15 auto 3.91

                      83-early 84 318i ( m10 ) came with a 3.91lsd small case diff. I got luck and had one in my 1.84 318i :D sold tho .
