    17" Alpina Kopis FS

Well, I cracked a wheel tonight, and I don't want to keep throwing money at these wheels. Portland roads/freeways/whatever are killing my pockets. Anyways, I bought them from a member here on R3v who's in NY. The PO kindly gave them all curb rash and other damage such as, one was cracked, one was bent, and one was bent at the hub. I have five (5) Alpinas total, all with the caps. I had the cracked one fixed and welded, and I had the bent one fixed as well by Skips Wheel Werks in Beaverton. The one that's bent at the hub isn't fixable I believe, since it's bent at the hub.

$550 obo with all 5 spare tires, 5 alpinas w/caps and tires that are on them.

I'll sell all 5 as is and adjust the price, or get the other one fixed and raise it.

I have 5 spare tires as well that'll go with the wheels.
    -2 have 99% tread life
    -2 have about half
-1 is a runflat with 95% or higher tread

The current tires on the wheels all have decent to ok tires.

I'm willing to trade (plus maybe cash on your end) for a different set of wheels, so shoot me some offers.

I'll try to get pictures soon, but not having a camera and all, it's kind of difficult.

They have to be e38 (filled and drilled), not e39 style 5's, as I am no 5 lug :(

There is a dude who just made E39 wheels work. I wouldent be as confident in them as E38 wheels but he was able to have them filled and drilled.

What he just said or you could get some 4x100-5x120 adaptors

                Hm interesting.

Yet if a select few at work saw e39 style 5s on an e30, they'd ask, and then tell me that my car is OFFICIALLY unsafe, since they don't like the M50 wiring harness above the intake/by the firewall.

Well if I got adapters, how would that work for e39s? Isn't the et like 20 or so?

Yes, ET20, so adapters would give you at least ET0 final offset, if not ET-5. 16's look better anyway. i'd say roll on bcaps for now, keep an eye on CL for someone selling their E38 style 5's for really cheap, and have them redrilled.

Very true. I've been talking to Abby (Ak here I believe) and he's going to get me a quote for everything. I just hope I can sell the Kopis to fund my future wheels.

Also, I'm torn between wheels. Should I get a 4th (currently have 3) Z3 style 32 (17x7.5 front, 17x8.5 rear) and run them with adapters, or should I get a set of the E38 Style 5s which are 16x8 all around? I think. I just don't know which route to go. If anyone else has any suggestions, feel free to run them by me.

That's the thing Jeff, I don't know. Mine doesn't have that hard protective case, since the PO took it off. He is a complete tool.

I bought the set damaged. This is the first wheel I've ever bent/cracked/hurt since owning a car evar. Sure they look neat, but I've already spent $225 getting two repaired, and most likely another $150 to get the cracked one fixed by Skips.
