    4 Door, Shwarz '88 325i

So, I have an '88 Shwarz 4 door with immaculate interior. Uncracked dash, ski hole pass thru rear seat, ect. Body is not in the best of shape as it has it's fair share of dings, dents and mild body damage.

I doesn't run due to my wife being robbed and the only key we had for it in her purse. It's located in Renton, at my In laws house and we're not living next door anymore, so, I need it gone. I just can't get enough time to really get down there and pick it up/get it on the road. A spare ignition and two keys will be included. I need $1,200 or so for the entire thing. Engine has 220xxx miles on it, 5 speed tranny shifts great. Fresh tires on the bottle caps in the rear, H&R sport springs, and the like. Need it gone and need the cash.

I don't actually want to sell this vehicle as we could use it in the household, but, such is life (a bitch) and I really need to polish up the engine swap project that's under way so we have an actual, running vehicle that's a bit more reliable.

It's either I find a buyer or break the steering column lock and hot wire the damn thing when I get a chance. The in laws are not very thrilled that it's still sitting.

Why don't you go to the dealer and order a new key based on the VIN?

I did. $70.00 later, it doesn't work. After a lock smith, it doesn't work. He left after spending 3 hours on the thing.

Trust me, I've tried the "basic" methods. At this point, I'm out a few hundred and really just don't have the time.

And, I'd love to spend a few hours on it, but honestly I just don't have the time. Been trying to pin down the finals on my engine swap project car while working and dealing with the snow, my Pop's truck while it's dumping snow on our mountain in Orting(complete suspension overhaul was needed and both rear shock mounts on his S10 sheared off at the bolt), a ridiculously active 1 year old and still find time with my wife while her ma' goes through breast cancer treatments and her grandmother's health decreases.

Life right now is work all on it's own. I can drop the price lower if that's too high. It's not a hard fix, just a time consuming one. Time I don't have ;)

Ah thats too bad that the simple fixes didn't work. I am always looking to buy busted cars, but yours is a bit out of my price range, and I don't want to try to lowball you. Maybe post a few pics of the car if you can?

remove steering wheel and column covers can be done while locked

pop off ignition switch screwdriver...starts...replace ignition cylinder

              Please leave feedback below, thanks

That it can, but I've literally, no time to make the 45-hour drive up to the in laws and spend 2 hours slotting the rivets/screws/posts (whatever their called) and removing the column, install new column/ignition ect. And at this point, I'd rather have the extra cash to throw at the S50 project car (control arms, CAB's, ect).

The price is negotiable. The in laws are not thrilled that the car is there still and have been hinting they need it gone.

As a side note, the timing belt, water pump, ect have all been changed in literally, I shit you not, 500 miles.

If this doesn't move, I'll be parting the car out in two weeks. Hope someone can take it as the valance is straight, car runs like a top, clutch is good, 5 speed doesn't slip or sound bad, diff. is a 3.73lsd if I remember correctly. If not, parts will be listed as I can remove.

Cool. I'd love it to go to someone who'd actually use it.

If Gerta does not buy it, let me know. Sounds like a good candidate for a PRO3 car, there are a couple people looking for a solid chassis with 5-speed to start a PRO3 build. An E30s dream come true is to convert to a PRO3 car. :)
