    e30 camshaft, stock or...

I bought a parts car from a guy in the summer that he was planning to build a track car out of but over heated his engine. he sold me the car with a lot of extra parts in boxes and extra rims and such and after going thru everything i found a camshaft that looks new and was wondering if its a stock one or some after market high performance one since the guy was building a track car. Anyone in the seattle area know how to tell by looking at it? ppl told me to measure the lobes on it but i have no idea how. ill post pictures later when i get home.

You can mesure it to find out how much lift it has.
