i only use it (buy or sell) for tickets, bikes and adult services when they had it.

Last month I sold a saxophone full asking price in 72 hours on CL. CL works for me.

I'm old enough to say try going back to pre-CL where you had to pay by the letter to place a printed ad in the newspaper. Those were the dark ages.

I wish they would ghost the ass clown dealership in Vancouver that keeps posting up. They originally had an E30 listed for $1299, then the dropped it to $500 down payment at that the car has a blown head. Now they have it listed at $799 and that they don't know why it wont run.

To top that crap off, they post it 3x a day.

I have the same problem. Every time I try to post on craigslist it comes back with some bullshit failure message, yet somehow there is a 7 series with a "bad transmission" in lynnwood that gets posted 40,000 times at random prices between $400-700.

I've been able to sell relatively quickly on CL. But agreed, I can't figure on how some folks list like three or 4 times a day the same item. And I've made some good purchases from down in the Seattle-ish area too.

I never had problems selling stuff on CL besides someone keeps flagging my posts when i try to sell my 79 kawasaki street bike, its been getting flagged since summer! Other then that its good. I never post my email and just leave a number so i dont get spam mail or viruses sent to me.
