Hurless Brothers actually send us people that need work on their cars. My dads timing chain guide on his 1998 740il went crappy, hurless said it takes too long for them to do it (25 hours) and then we tackled the job ourselves. A few months later they sent us another 4.4 liter, this time with Vanos and we got it done. We also just got finished rebuilding an m50 for my brothers 94 325i. We don't have the tools or the know-how to skim a cylinder head, but we can do engine rebuildsLeave a comment:

I would definitely recommend Eurosport, great bunch of guys. They also can get fairly busy with work too. I also remember seeing two disassembled S54 engines being put back together as one running engine because the customer had warped the head from overheating.Leave a comment:

Good to know. I am new control arms and bushings that are already in their new brackets so if the old one's take a beating.... no harm done.Leave a comment:

I just did my full front suspension and didn't use one of these. To pull off I had to cut it off. To put new on I used a little bit of dish soap and the new CAB slide right on with a little persuation. Fairly simple.Hey there. Hope you are all doing well out in Le Boise. I've been head down in a 89 Jeep cherokee for the last few weeks and haven't touched the beemer but.... ordered new control arms, bushings, tie rods etc... freshening up the front end a bit. Be back on April 13th and have a week to do it all. Should be easy. Anybody got one of these http://www.amazon.com/Thrust-Bushing...D11C2JEXE3JK9T ? Would love to get it all done and take it on that drive as a shakedown run
This past December I had Boise Cyliner Head do my head on M50NV. I took it in with no cam's. Gave him the valve stem seals. He cleaned, resurfaced, installed new stem seals and checked valve seats. He did a great job. Not sure about rebuilding an engine. I just did a top rebuild, didn't touch the rotating assy.Leave a comment:

Because that side of the State sucks balls. All that is up here in Moscow are bro-dozers and Subarus with tinted tails and exhaust.Leave a comment:

I too have heard good things about them, no firsthand knowledge however.Leave a comment:

Not in that county. Owyhee county has very few regulations.
Also, Boise isn't another version of California... we don't even have a beach.Leave a comment:

Hurless Brothers says they won't do real engine work anymore but recommended Eurosport of Boise. Has anyone here had engine work done by Eurosport? Would you recommend them to skim a cylinder head or rebuild an engine?Leave a comment:

Don't people have to smog their cars out there? No thanks. I came where I came to get out of California, not move to another version of it...Leave a comment:

Why don't you move to Boise or at least closer to Boise...? I hear Marsing is nice.Leave a comment:

Why aren't there more e30folk on my side of the state? Either you all need to move over here, or tell your farmer cousins to sell their lifted trucks and get e30's. I are so tired of Subarus and "built Hondas".Leave a comment:
