Following breakfast, a nice cruise either east on 84 so we can come back west on the historic highway, east on the historic highway and come back on 84...or to hell with it...east AND west on the historic highway. It's a very generic route, but it's a great drive.
Sounds like fun, I'm gonna be there.

This sounds like a good idea initially but if its raining... It makes for a rather gloomy drive.

I would just worry about ice up there. I went to the vista house about this time 2 years ago and didn't drive any further because we had already encounter ice. And that was when I had my MazdaSpeed6.

If the weather and roads aren't cooperating and the cruise is cancelled, then it will still be fun to get together and have breakfast and hang out. We can plan out a new route as well.

Anyway, would we just be on the historic highway to Multnomah Falls and take 84 back? I think a quick photo stop/regroup at the Vista House would be really cool.

this is what we planned originally on nwbmw up historic hwy and back down road closure premitting
